I have a love hate relationship with decorating stores. When I am looking for something specific I can never find it or if I find something it's never on sale. Tell me you can relate.

I do have to say things are looking up though. Ever since hubby announced our home needed more decor I have done my best to comply with his request and the stores are following suit.

Here's one of my weekend finds for 50% off. Three lovely scrolled antiqued iron grills. They would be perfect for a certain bare stairway wall.



Hubby is now in the middle of a balancing act in the stairway hanging these and this extremely heavy floor mirror (also 50% off) I purchased.



Like all good home projects he will need to head out to the hardware store for some hanging hardware before he attempts the mirror. It's going on the wall with the green ladder.



This week my goal will be drapery, possibly some wall tapestries, priming and painting crown molding and painting the ceiling tray in the dining room. Please tell me some stores rent out sewing machines or I can rent out time at a machine in a store somewhere.
