Three weeks ago I was at a second hand shop and found this little girl for sale: $19.99. At first glance to most she was a perfect little girl's room piece if you gave her some TLC. Would you have seen the possibilities?
I went home to think it over but she became all I could think about; she haunted me all afternoon. I knew she had tremendous potential and would be perfect for a bare wall in our master bedroom. I decided to high-tail it back to the store and save her.
Once I got her home I found layers of stinky, flowery contact paper inside.
I put on some questionable music and started to strip ...
and strip.
Once she was bare it was time to repair all the drawer glides.
I filed the hardware holes, sanded, painted, added new bottom drawer panels and new hardware.
And for the grand finale ... her she is in our master bedroom. Now all she needs is a new lamp, some trinkets and perhaps a couple of flanking chairs!

Beautiful! I love all the curves! Sit back and enjoy staring at her now!
You must have so much patience! It's really lovely!!!! A great find, and you are invested in it. ♥
I have to admit, I think I would have passed her by. Which is a good thing...I wouldn't have done her justice. You did great!!!
That turned out beautiful!!!
