Connie
I've visited quite a few of your blogs these past few weeks and have been inspired to share some snaps of our home.

I recently banned the color 'tan' from some areas of our home. The family entry way was one of them. It's a small hallway leading from our garage to the kitchen. The pictures are of flowers.
I still have some work to do with wall decor but feel pretty good about my attempt thus far. Yes, that's a 'fly swatter' for those of you wondering. We have huge bugs here including biting horse flies. It's either us or them - we choose them.

I also keep a baby gate around for the puppy. She likes to chew on things if you leave her for a few hours while running errands.

What do you think?

Very pretty! Love the yellow... it looks like the same shade I have in my living room :)

  2. It's cute! I need to redo my entry way. I keep looking in the stores to get inspired but nothing is really grabbing me yet.

Nice! I'm a big fan of yellow. It really brightens up small spaces. Oh, and I like the bench with the baskets underneath. I love furniture that's useful in more than one way.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope to see you around again soon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Was I one of the ones to inspire your pics? :) Yes, we were painting. I am so glad we are finished. The process sucks, but the end result is so rewarding and awesome! I need to do a before/after post! Thanks again for stopping by!

You don't have to explain to me about large bugs and puppy gates. I say your house is your home and make it as livable as can be. If I had one of those houses with plastic on the furniture and not letting anyone sit on the couch for fear they would get it dirty or crush the material, I would go crazy. That is not a home that is an institution for the insane. I love my little liveable home. Like the pics of yours too!
