Connie
So now that I am another year older I feel it's about time I discuss some things.

For example, definition of 'clean' can differ greatly from person to person. Hubby works for a large home improvement store; he covers the east coast through the northern plains. I'm telling you, you just can't make up some of the stuff we see from hour to hour. I am encouraging him to write a book but I am not sure it will happen while he is employed just due to pure shock value of some stories.

Anywho ~ said people hire someone to install a water heater. At the time of purchase they stated they cleared a path to the water heater for the installer. Below I give you their definition of 'clearing a path'.

C'mon people!

Just to make this fun ... the water heater is located under the Elmo doll.

OMG...how does someone live like that??? Is that for real?? That would drive my anxiety level through the roof!

  2. Tiffany Says:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! OH MY STARS. That would be a really funny coffee table book....

  3. Lex the mom Says:

The path less travelled, I guess? Bwahaha! That's a lot of toys - are they professional shoplifters?

Sorry to hear you had to reformat recently - such a hell, for real!

Wow, I'm going to come back and look at this post when my house is feeling messy. It's so amazing that people can live that way, it would make for a great garage sale :)

    What?!?
    What is all of that?
    Are those cardboard boxes?!?
Ya' know, there was an episode on Oprah about this... yup.

I actually have an Aunt who describes her home as a "museum". She calls it "Sparkle Plenty A-Museum". She even had business cards made up!
But the sad fact is, it's just stacks and stacks of STUFF. (To put it politely)
Her husband even moved to a condo so he could have some space! We've all tried to help. But she just doesn't see it.
    How wild, huh?!

This is what my parent's house looked like when I was growing up. There's no excuse for it really, but there were 5 of us and my mom thought it was mean to make us clean, and my dad just didn't care, so neither did my mom. I am proud when I look around and only see one pile of laundry, and a few toys on the floor! Everyone has a different viewpoint! I remember always being embarassed.

WOW... just wow. I seriously don't know how people live like that I get one thing on the floor and throw a hissy fit!!

Thanks for commenting on my blog!!
